Christopher Lee delights in his reading of Christie's stories including "The Hound of Death," "The Red Signal," "The Fourth Man," "The Gypsy," "The Lamp," and others. His solidly paced, rich, vaguely aristocratic narration captures the suspenseful spirit of these creepy-cozy mysteries, and he gives each character his or her own distinct voice and hints of emotional complexity. Lee's consumptive Annette in "The Fourth Man" and maniacal spirit voice in "The Red Signal" are both memorable and disturbing. Highly recommended and very enjoyable.
